“PADI” is a certification agency, which stands for Professional Association of Diving Instructors.
Becoming a PADI diver means having the most respected and sought after scuba diving credentials in the world. It is also the most widely recognized. That means, by earning your scuba certification with PADI, no matter where in the world you choose to dive, your PADI certification will be recognized and accepted.
Will I learn different things if I pick PADI over some other training agency? Isn’t scuba diving the same everywhere?
Not necessarily. What makes PADI different isn’t “what” it teaches as much as “how” you learn what you are taught. PADI courses are designed to make learning enjoyable and worth while by allowing you to progress at your own pace and demonstrate mastery of required skills before moving on. PADI’s higher educational standards, backed by solid educational materials, combined with performance-based learning, allows you to learn comfortably while gaining the necessary competencies to be a safe diver long after your course has completed. Additionally, PADI has implemented a strict quality control program that monitors its instructors and dive programs. When you meet a PADI Instructor, you know you are getting quality!

Right after your Beginning Open Water Scuba course has completed. The PADI system is designed for you to have all the necessary skills to be ready to continue on to the next course as soon as your Open Water certification is issued.
It will take 10 to 14 days once you have completed all requirements of the PADI Open Water Scuba Diver course to receive your certification card.

Partial Extreme Scuba Diving is a brand inspired by Tim Wetzel to develop the highest quality divers with the PADI learning system. Its the method he uses to showcase his course offerings, provide updates, and allow new and returning divers to identify the highest quality instruction that only he can offer.
In early 2016, Tim partnered with the international retail team at Stone Sports to add scuba diving to their existing business line. Together they have developed a storefront physically located in the Summerlin area of the Las Vegas Valley in Nevada. Current operations include scuba instruction and state of the art scuba and ski gear for rentals and purchasing as well as premier cylinder fill station and scuba gear maintenance.
This partnership has provided a mutual benefit that has allowed Tim to expand his course offerings, incorporate dive travel, and operate in a manner that he was not able to provide in the past.
All Partial Extreme operations operate solely from Stone Sports at 4520 S. Hualapai Way, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
